I started my writing classes back in May of 2014. Now, less than a year later, I am wrapping up my last one for my degree in English. It’s a bittersweet moment for me, because while I’ve learned a lot from these classes, I am going to miss them. It’s been a while since I’ve paid this website much attention, but as the chapter closes with my courses, a new one opens that allows me to devote more time to living my dream of being an author once again.
I have nine classes left in my degree, most of which concentrates on Literary Theory, Shakespeare, and other subjects. I know that those courses will make me a better writer even though they’re not exactly ‘writing’ classes, so I am excited to keep the ball rolling.
The interesting part about finishing the writing classes is I feel like there is more to learn, but that’s the way it always is. I do believe they’ve made me a better writer, so they were most definitely worth it. The professors at the American Military University have been great and the courses were both challenging and engaging.
Anyway, with the end of my novella course comes the announcement of a sequel to my novel Paracus, or, to be more accurate, a prequel.
Paracus: Succession is the untold story of Amelia (formerly Anemlia) Roummos and her controversial shift from being an adviser to the late Sorin Roummos, to being placed in the line of succession. The story answers a few questions about how Amelia came to be and why she developed into the person she becomes ten years later.
Paracus: Succession is currently available for pre-order for $0.99 and will release March 13, 2015.

In the coming weeks, I’ll be posting the future of this website and what I intend to do from then and on. Thank you for all the support and feedback I have received. I am looking forward to applying what I’ve learned to Paracus and getting started on my next projects to follow. Take care!
